Upright

The Tower is the lightning bolt that strikes down what was built on a false foundation. Upright, it signals a sudden and inevitable change — something that seemed solid, but wasn't, crumbling to make room for truth. The crown at the tower's peak, torn away by the impact, represents the ego and certainties that fall precisely because they were built on sand, not rock. It can be uncomfortable, but it's also liberating: what falls was never meant to stand. After the dust settles, what remains is more real than everything that existed before. What's left after the fall is always more solid than what collapsed.

Reversed

Reversed, the Tower can be resistance to change that's already inevitable — delaying the collapse only prolongs the discomfort. It can also point to an internal, silent crisis that hasn't yet come into full view. (…)
